Information on the Map

This section shows you how to change the information and details on the map and the battle itself. it just covers the notes and text you might want to attach to the final, published map. This can include an overall title for the map, information on its location, a description or overview of the battle and author or copyright statements.

The window to enter these details can be reached by selecting 'Map & background' from the main menu.

then select 'Change map information & details' from the menu which appears.

You should then be presented with the following window :

The entry marked 'Map title' will be used for the title at the top of the main window and anywhere images from the map require a title.

The remain entries can be used to explain to the final reader of the maps information about the battle, it's setting, context etc. along with identifying authorship and copyright of the final map set. These details appear in the details area of the main screen (see item 7 on the main screen layout page).

Clicking 'OK' will save these details, clicking 'cancel' returns the details to the state they were in before opening this window.
