Reporting errors and getting help

Assuming this user guide hasn't answered all your questions, or if you're having problems and BattleMaps is misbehaving, your best options are to either :

• visit www.battle-maps.com and look at the support pages, or
• send an e-mail to support@battle-maps.com giving as much information about the problem as you can.

In both cases we are likely to need detailed information about what the program was doing at the time. This is gathered for you in a pair of log files, 'output.log' and 'error.log' which are stored in the same folder on your computer from which you run the program itself. This is usually "c:\program files\BattleMaps\" but there should be a shortcut to it from your start menu. Either attach these files to the e-mail, or upload them with your question to the website and we can analyse the problem and feedback as soon as we are able.
